Chile

Sorry for the lack of updates (again)!

I already arrived in Santiago de Chile about three weeks ago now, after an 13 hour flight!
I arrived 1 hour earlier than I left! (13h flight, but -14h time difference!)
two days later I could get my bike at the cargo terminal. no problems at all, it was done in half a day.
taking the bike out of the warehouse in Santiago and through the customs was easy and about $200 USD.
In Australia it took me almost two weeks to get my bike legally onto the road!

I had a very good experience with Ivan from bikesabroad.com.au, who did the shipping (or rather flying). The bike was perfectly crated up by Procycles in Hornsby near Sydney, altough it came in a BMW box 🙂

right now I’m in Viña del Mar and taking some Spanish lessons!
