Utah and Colorado

The Natural Bridges Monument was the last NP in Utah. After a night of wild camping on a canyon rim I entered Colorado. It’s mostly higher altitudes and lower temperatures than Utah.

Bryce Canyon

Another Canyon: the Bryce Canyon!

Fortunately I‘ve got the annual National Park pass, the entries to all those places are quite expensive!

Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend

Utah is the state of the canyons!

two famous ones are the Antelope Canyon with it‘s beautiful colors and the Horseshoe Bend.

Death Valley and Grand Canyon

The Death Valley was impressive! Very hot at about 45°C and below sea level (lowest I‘ve been was about -75m).

We then moved on to the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately we didn’t have much time there to explore.

Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks

Tom and Linda brought some Swiss food to the USA, so we enjoyed a Rösti at the Yosemite National Park! And Cervelat later on.

And we saw a bear!

then we visited the Sequoia NP with it’s huge trees, quite impressive!
