on my last days in Turkey I enjoyed riding over some high mountain passes. It was cold (about 5C) up there but nice to see some snow. The night I camped in a valley and drank the last beer in Turkey. Apparently, Georgia is called Gürcistan in Turkish… and I didnt found out what was special about the motorcycling spot at the fuel station.

In den letzten Tagen in der Türkei konnte ich noch ein paar hohe Pässe fahren. Es war kalt (ca 5 Grad) und es hatte noch viel Schnee. In der Nacht hab ich wild gezeltet und mein letztes türkisches Bier getrunken, dazu gab’s noch einen Landjäger! Übrigens scheint Georgien in türkisch Gürcistan zu heissen…
I spent two nights in Göreme in the Cave Hotel Saksagan, waiting for my new tires to arrive. Very nice and cozy hotel with delicious breakfast. Thank you Numan for helping me out with the deliveries!
There are nice landscapes here in the Cappadocia region. I also went on an ATV sunset tour and had great fun with the guides there!
Ich habe zwei Nächte in Göreme im Cave Hotel Saksagan verbracht und auf meine neuen Reifen gewartet. Hier in der Cappadocia Region gibt es schöne Landschaften. Zudem war ich noch auf einer ATV Sonnenuntergangstour und hatte viel Spass mit den Tour Guides!
Found the lake Akgöl by chance! Strange feeling to drive on the dried dirt, it sinks in a bit and makes the front wheel wiggle.
Habe den Akgöl See per Zufall gefunden! Komisches Gefühl, auf dem ausgetrockneten Boden zufahren. Es sinkt leicht ein und macht das Vorderrad instabil.
